With an objective to welcome the parents and students of Class 11 to the Senior School for the new academic session (2019-2020), an Orientation programme was conducted on 15th April, 2019 in the Edmund Rice Hall.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer by Ms. G. David.
The administrator, Mr N. Chopra guided the students for their Academic Excellence. He also informed them about the Code of Conduct to be followed in school. Their parents too were informed about the norms to be followed.
Mrs R. Nagpal made the students and parents aware of how the calculation of marks were done in the Report Card.
The Senior School staff members were introduced by Mrs R. Sharma.
The concept of the Safety Protection measures for the students were explained by Mrs N. Menezes.
The co-curricular activities performed in the Senior School were introduced by Mrs A. Joseph.
The purpose of the Community Outreach programme was explained by Mrs. S. John.
The Councillor Ms O. Paul, explained how the Mental Health conditions can affect the child. She suggested a few solutions to overcome these conditions.
A. Ghosh an Ex-Columban, shared with the students his experience being in the Senior School with an inspirational speech.
Br Miranda clarified many doubts by cross questioning the parents.
The programme ended with the school anthem.
