Description:
‘The Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed.’ —Mohandas K. Gandhi
In a heartwarming initiative to instil environmental consciousness at a tender age, the students of Kindergarten embarked on a mission to sensitize parents about the perils of single-use plastic. The kindergarteners, with their boundless energy and enthusiasm, became the torchbearers of this eco-friendly movement.
A special event was held on 29th October, 2024 where Kindergarten students distributed cloth bags made by their parents from old fabric, demonstrating how repurposing can help protect the environment.
The children learned about the harmful effects of single-use plastic and understood that even small actions, like using reusable bags, can make a significant difference. They were encouraged to take pride in their role as environmental ambassadors and to inspire their families and others to make eco-friendly choices.
The parents were overwhelmingly positive about the initiative. Many expressed their appreciation for the school's efforts in educating young children about environmental issues.
