Columban Model United Nations 2019 was even bigger and better this time…


St Columba’s School hosted the Columban Model United Nations on the 8th and 10th of November respectively. The 3rd edition of the MUN was the biggest that the school has witnessed so far, with more than 450 student participants from various schools of Delhi and NCR Region.


The grand opening ceremony in the Edmund Rice Hall was indeed a great start to the conference. The short film, speeches of various sponsors like the Canara Bank, Macmillan and Art of learning were the limelight of the opening ceremony.


The first day of conference set the stage for the debates with focus on identification and analysis of leading global issues. The second day concluded the sessions and debates and aimed at providing solutions to the issues raised.


The day ended with an even more grand closing ceremony, with a power packed dance performance by SCS. The Secretariat and the Executive board members were awarded and the results were declared. Delhi Public School, Noida took home along with a grand trophy, the prestigious award for the best school delegation.


It was a great learning experience and a memorable event.
