Virtual assemblies and celebrations have been the norm ever since the Pandemic began. This clearly means that there is no stopping us when we want to come together to have fun. Junior, Middle and Senior school came together to bring joy to the faces of our students.
The morning of 12th November had a joyous start as the students were presented a fun-filled and meaningful blend of Children’s Day and Diwali Assembly. This well curated virtual extravaganza was a treat for all.
The Junior school teachers initiated the event with a prayer to seek the blessings of the Almighty. In a comic role reversal , the teachers stepped in the shoes of their students and presented a spoof on the quirks of our students during online classes. This was followed by a foot tapping dance performance by the Junior School teachers.
The Middle school wing presented a nostalgic video on the pre-Covid times of fun and frolic in school, that brought back a flood of memories to teachers and students alike. This was followed by a stupendous dance performance by the teachers echoing the adage –‘All is Well’ . The melodious rendition of the hymn ‘Love Sweet Love’ touched a chord with everyone as that is what the world needs now. The Senior School Headmaster sang a soulful classic ‘Ruk Jaana Nahi’ resonating the achievements of our Columbans –reminding them that the sky is the limit for every Columban whose indomitable spirit cannot be crushed despite challenges. The Senior School fraternity gave out messages of hope, optimism and faith during these trying times.
The Diwali Assembly was topical as it presented the message of safe and green Diwali during the Pandemic. Teachers and students shared useful tips for a safer, greener and meaningful Diwali with a difference
