Description: In St. Columba’s, we continually strive to empower and equip our students to protect their own selves. There are regular sessions about body safety and rules to be followed for self protection. Keeping to the same efforts the students of Class 1D conducted a morning assembly about the topic- STRANGER-DANGER on 22nd November 2022. The assembly began with the boys melodiously singing a short prayer song- 'Everything I do'. The prayer was followed by a short enactment on Stranger-Danger. The boys beautifully explained the rules to be followed while dealing with strangers in different situations. They also spoke about the ‘Safe Strangers’-policeman, guard, watchman, etc., whom we can go to in case of any trouble. The students presented a well coordinated dance performance inviting huge applause. A thought provoking quiz was conducted at the end of the assembly. Our respected Principal, Brother Robert commended the choice of the topic and reinforced that the students must take up responsibility and follow safety rules laid down by the parents and teachers.
