On 10th March
2026, a workshop on Art Integration was conducted by the Middle School Art
Department. The session, led by the art teachers, Ms. Priti Badhan and Mr.
Tushan focused on creative approaches to curriculum delivery.The programme
began with shlokas recited by Mrs. Tripti Dobhal, creating a calm and positive
atmosphere and set the tone for the creative workshop. This was followed by the
encouraging words of Brother Agnelo Benjamin. During the session, the concept
of art integration in education was discussed in detail. The teachers explained
the benefits of integrating art and highlighted how it enhances creativity,
understanding, and student engagement in the learning process. The participants
explored various art forms including painting, sketching,collage making,
singing to integrate with subjects like Maths, Science, Social Sciences and
Languages. The hands on session saw enthusiastic participation from the subject
teachers Mrs.Faye Gordan, Mrs.Preeti Joseph, Ms.Roscilin Barnard, Mrs.Sarah Vincent,
Mrs.Archana Srivastava and Ms.Indrani Chakraborty who further enriched the
session by presenting innovative ways in which they merged art with their
respective subjects. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks.The engaging
and informative session inspired the teachers to adopt creative approaches in
their teaching practices.
