President Of Student Council (Senior School)
"Leadership is not about standing out — it’s about standing up for those in your care."
Being appointed as the Student Council President is an honour I carry with humility, but also with deep purpose.
My journey at St. Columba’s has never been about chasing recognition — it has been about growing, learning, and
most importantly, belonging.
This school has shaped me through values that run deeper than any motto — integrity, resilience, humility, and
courage. These ideals weren’t just taught in classrooms; they were lived in our corridors, our friendships, and
our everyday acts of kindness. They’ve helped me become not just a better student, but a better human being.
I believe that true leadership doesn’t begin with a position — it begins with intent. You don’t need a badge to make
a difference. You need passion, a sense of responsibility, and the willingness to serve. When you lead with heart,
people don’t just follow — they walk with you.
This year, I want to build a culture where every student feels seen, heard, and valued — where the silent efforts
are celebrated as much as the loud victories, and where no one feels like they have to fit in, because they already
belong.
Together, let’s create a student body that stands for something greater — a community driven not just by excellence,
but by empathy. Let us raise the green and gold not just as a banner, but as a symbol of unity, courage, and unwavering
Columban spirit.
With pride, purpose, and passion,
Vedansh Chhikara
