A
workshop on women’s safety and workplace awareness was conducted on 17th
October 2025, by Mrs Rupa Dey, a member of the Internal Complaints Committee
(ICC) from the Junior School. The session focused on the SHOWW Act (Sexual
Harassment of Women at Workplace Act) and the importance of upholding the
dignity and safety of women in every professional setting.
Mrs
Dey elaborated on the key provisions of the Act, explaining the procedures for
reporting and addressing grievances related to any form of inappropriate
conduct or advances. She encouraged teachers to speak up with confidence,
safeguard their rights, and foster a culture of respect and awareness. The
workshop served as an important reminder of the school’s commitment to
maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all.
