Awareness Drive: Water Borne Diseases
A buzzing conversation between a well-meaning mosquito and an open-minded human being, was the highlight of the morning of 16.05.25.
As part of an awareness drive, about water borne diseases, (specifically Malaria) a short intercom presentation was presented by Dylan & Pradhyum from class 8.
The audience listened with rapt attention as the speakers discussed the causes leading to water borne diseases and the measures that should be taken to mitigate the spread of such diseases. The interaction was so engaging that the student audience continued discussing the conversation of the sensible mosquito during their lunch break.
Through the presentation, not only did the audience become aware of the concerns regarding such diseases but those who conducted the same also got an opportunity to write a script, understand the nuances of character portrayal and practice voice modulation that are integral skills learnt in the Theatre Club.
