Description:
On 10th July 2025, the students of Class 11-E conducted a thought-provoking class assembly on the theme "Toxic Masculinity" under the guidance of the class teacher Mr. Piyush Emmanuel. The assembly aimed to break down harmful gender stereotypes and initiate conversations around emotional expression and healthy masculinity.
The program began on a soulful note with the hymn "You Are My Hiding Place", reminding everyone of the strength found in vulnerability and faith. This was followed by a short enactment portraying everyday scenarios where boys are discouraged from showing emotion or vulnerability, shedding light on how such social conditioning can be damaging.
A powerful poem was recited by the students, challenging traditional notions of masculinity and urging society to embrace sensitivity, kindness, and authenticity in men.
The assembly concluded with a reflective message, encouraging all students to create a culture of empathy and inclusiveness.
