The integration of IFPs into the teaching-learning fabric marks a significant advancement in St. Columba’s educational landscape, symbolizing the institution's commitment to embracing technology for educational excellence. On 22nd March 2024, a short session was conducted for the Junior School teachers by the computer teachers, Mrs Latika Bhasin and Mr Pius Alex, focusing on the use of Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) in classroom settings. The session aimed to familiarize teachers with various tools and functions of IFPs, enhancing their teaching methodologies through technology integration. Through interactive demonstrations, Mrs Bhasin and Mr Alex showcased the myriad features of IFPs, including digital whiteboarding, multimedia integration, collaborative tools, and interactive applications.
Teachers actively engaged in hands-on exploration of IFP functionalities, guided by the facilitators. Practical tips and strategies for optimizing IFP utilization to enrich classroom experiences and foster student engagement were also discussed. The session proved to be enriching and fruitful as teachers not only familiarized themselves with various tools but also discovered the ease and functionality associated with IFPs.
