On the occasion
of International Day of Climate Action (24th October), a special assembly was
conducted through the intercom in the Middle School to spread awareness about
climate change and environmental conservation.
Students of
classes 6 and 8 hosted the assembly with great enthusiasm and awareness. They
highlighted the significance of the day and spoke about the impact of climate
change, global warming and the urgent need for collective action. Emphasis was
laid on the need to reduce carbon footprints by saving electricity, conserving
water, planting trees, and avoiding single-use plastic. Students also shared
how small, conscious actions can help combat global warming and climate change.
The entire school
took a pledge to adopt eco-friendly habits and become responsible guardians of
the Earth.
The assembly
successfully conveyed a powerful message of collective responsibility towards
climate action.
