The Reading Week commenced with a vibrant opening assembly by the students of classes - 8, 9 & 10th that set the tone for a week of literary exploration and creative engagement. fostering empathy. The Middle School students highlighted how books can transport us across time and cultures.

Students from Grades 4 to 10 participated in a delightful scrapbooking activity. Each student created a personalized scrapbook page inspired by their favourite book or author. Pages featured quotes, illustrations, and reflections, showcasing the diversity of literary interests across the school.

In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), students took on the role of young journalists. They researched global issues such as climate change, gender equality, and quality education, and presented news reports linking these themes to SDG goals.

Students explored the moral and emotional journeys of characters from selected novels and short stories. Through group discussions and role-play, they reflected on values such as courage, kindness, and integrity. This activity helped students connect personally with literary characters.

The week concluded with a heartwarming closing assembly. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to enthusiastic participants. The assembly ended with a collective reading of a poem celebrating the joy of books, leaving everyone inspired to keep reading beyond the celebration.
