As
per the directions of the Department of Social Welfare, Govt. of N.C.T. of
Delhi, St. Columba’s School conducted a Rally and Mass Pledge Ceremony under
the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan to raise awareness about the harmful effects of
drugs and tobacco.
A
rally was held within the Senior Wing campus, where students carried banners
and placards with powerful slogans such as “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life” and
“Healthy Youth, Strong Nation.” The rally aimed to spread awareness and
encourage students to adopt a healthy, substance-free lifestyle.
This
was followed by a Mass Pledge Ceremony, where all students and teachers pledged
to stay away from drugs and tobacco. The collective recitation of the pledge
reflected the school community’s commitment to building a drug-free society.
The
programme concluded with a shared resolve to support the vision of a healthy
and drug-free India.
