The students of Class 1C brought an encouraging message to the morning assembly on 28th October, 2026 through their presentation on “Take courage to try”. The programme celebrated the importance of facing fears, believing in oneself, and taking the first step towards something new.
The assembly began with a melodious rendition of the prayer song “Our Father”, through which the boys sought the blessings of the Almighty.
This was followed by a skit titled “The Brave Racer –Take courage to try”. Featuring characters such as the Fear Monster, Courage Captain, Sports Captain, four good runners, and one hesitant runner, the story explored how fear can hold us back. With the support of his friends and his own determination, the hesitant runner overcame his apprehensions and finally took part in the race. The central message, “It’s okay to be scared, but it’s important to try,” came through clearly. The children’s dialogue delivery and expressions were particularly commendable.
The presentation continued with a spirited dance performance to a Superheroes song. Through their lively movements, the boys conveyed that every child can be a superhero by finding the courage to face challenges and give things a try. The assembly concluded with the students singing the National Anthem.
Our respected Principal, Br. Robert, appreciated the efforts of Class 1C and reminded the students that being a hero is not only about winning; having the courage to try is heroic in itself. The Junior School Headmistress, Mrs. Ritu Kaushal, also applauded the presentation and emphasised that being honest, even when it is difficult, is an act of courage.
The assembly left the young audience with a simple lesson: courage does not mean being without fear; it means having the confidence to try despite it.
