The three‑day educational trip to Jim
Corbett National Park proved to be an enriching and memorable experience for
the students of Grades 4 to 6. Organized by Shorts and Shots, the trip combined
adventure, learning, and recreation in perfect measure.
Students explored the lush greenery, observing flora and fauna
while developing sensitivity towards the environment. Pug‑Marking hands‑on
activity introduced them to wildlife tracking techniques, sparking curiosity
about animal behavior.
Documentary Screening provided insights into conservation
efforts and the rich biodiversity of the region. Students visited the Museum
and learned about Jim Corbett’s legacy and the history of India’s first
national park. A lively evening of music
and dance fostered camaraderie and joy among participants.
The highlight of the trip was the Jungle Safari and spotting a
majestic male tusker, leaving students awestruck and deepening their
appreciation for wildlife.
The trip successfully blended education with adventure,
instilling values of conservation, teamwork, and respect for nature. It will remain a cherished memory for all
participants.
