"A small
gesture of gratitude can carry a very big message."
Raksha Bandhan is a
celebration of love, care, and protection. To mark the occasion in a meaningful
way, the students of Class 3 participated in a special Rakhi-making activity
during their Art periods.
With creativity and
care, the children crafted colourful Rakhis for the brave soldiers of the
Border Security Force (BSF), offering them as tokens of appreciation for their
courage, dedication, and tireless service to the nation.
The activity
provided an opportunity for the young learners to express their respect for
those who work to safeguard the country. Each Rakhi carried a simple yet
heartfelt message of thanks, along with the children's warm wishes for the
soldiers who protect our nation. The Rakhis were collected and sent to the
BSF soldiers on 18th August 2026, carrying the affection and good wishes of our
young Columbans.
The initiative
brought alive the deeper spirit of Raksha Bandhan, helping the children
understand that the bonds of care and protection can reach far beyond the
family and touch those who dedicate themselves to keeping others safe.
