Description: "Debate is not just about winning an argument, but about learning to listen, question, and speak with purpose." The much-awaited Class 3 Elocution Intra-Class Annual Debate- ‘Walk the Talk’, held on 29th July 2025 at Junior School, was a vibrant showcase of young minds fearlessly expressing their views on thought-provoking topics. The event aimed to nurture confident speakers and critical thinkers—skills essential in today’s ever-evolving world. This year’s debate featured engaging and age-appropriate themes ranging from the influence of advertisements and learning through books versus screens, to the value of co-scholastic activities, environmental choices, and the impact of pocket money on children's behaviour. Each topic was brought to life by the enthusiastic participants from all five sections of Class 3. With clarity and conviction, the boys delivered well-structured arguments that reflected both their understanding and growing confidence as public speakers. The event was judged by Mr. Dennis Joy Stephen, English educator from the Senior School, who commended the students on their articulation and stage presence. The debate was graced by our respected Community Leader, Br. Agnelo, and Junior Wing Headmistress, Mrs. Kaushal, whose presence added immense encouragement and value to the occasion. In his address, Br. Agnelo praised the young debaters for their courage to speak up and highlighted the importance of debate and elocution. Mrs. Kaushal appreciated the efforts of all participants and reminded the students that the ability to express oneself confidently and respectfully is a lifelong skill. The ‘Walk the Talk’ debate served as a meaningful platform where ideas met enthusiasm, and every voice—however young—was heard with respect and admiration.
