Description:

The students of Class 3 presented their much-awaited annual show, Kaleidoscope of Chronicles, on 26th August 2025 — a vibrant celebration of imagination, values, and creativity. The program was graced by our esteemed Principal, Br. Robert, our revered Community Leader, Br. Agnelo, along with the Section Heads of the Senior and Middle School. The event was judged by Mrs. Rama Sikka, a seasoned academician with over four decades of service to education, and Mrs. Placi Rodrigues, a dedicated teacher from the Convent of Jesus and Mary.

A defining feature of the show was its narrative thread: a lively storyteller and a curious little child guided the audience through each performance, seamlessly weaving the stories together like shifting patterns in a kaleidoscope.

The stage sparkled with four delightful enactments. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory reminded us of the importance of humility and the sweetness of simplicity. Robin Hood celebrated justice and fairness in the green depths of Sherwood Forest. Encanto brought alive the power of self-belief and perseverance within the bonds of family. Finally, Tom Sawyer highlighted intelligence and curiosity through his mischievous adventures. Each central character carried a value we hope every Columban child will embody — creativity, fairness, humility, perseverance, self-belief, and intelligence.

Interspersed between the plays, the audience enjoyed soulful instrumental medleys of patriotic tunes by our talented Western Music teacher, Mr. Vernan, and Indian Music teacher, Mr. Shahnawaz — melodies that stirred both nostalgia and pride.

In his address, Principal Br. Robert praised the young performers and highlighted the timeless values reflected in each story — humility, courage, fairness, perseverance, and creativity — values essential for shaping character and nurturing responsible global citizens.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the Junior Wing Headmistress, Mrs. Kaushal, who commended the efforts of students, teachers, and parents in making the show a memorable success.

Kaleidoscope of Chronicles was more than an annual show; it was a celebration of stories, values, and the spirit of learning — leaving the audience inspired and proud of the young Columbans.
