A collective House meeting was
held on 9th April during the club periods on day three. The meeting was organised
to ensure the smooth and systematic management of house-related activities and responsibilities.
The Housemistress, Vice Housemistress, and the teachers of all five houses
attended the meeting along with their respective students.
During the session, the
Housemistress and teachers interacted with the students. The meeting began with
a short introduction by the teachers, highlighting the need for proper
coordination and teamwork within each house. Students were briefed about
upcoming inter-school events, point system and discipline norms. There was a
detailed discussion on the distribution of duties. The members expressed their
preferences and availability, which helped in preparing a revised duty roster
that was both fair and efficient.
The selection criteria for
prefects was explained, along with the expectations from both the prefects and students.
Prefects from the previous year also spoke about their experiences and
suggested areas where improvements could be made. The House In-charge
encouraged all students to give their best throughout the academic year and to
strictly adhere to the school’s rules and regulations. Emphasis was laid on
discipline, proper grooming, courteous behaviour, and active participation in
both academic and co-curricular activities. Overall, it was a valuable and
enriching experience for the students, and each house gained meaningful
insights from the meeting.
