A Tobacco Awareness Assembly was conducted for the students of Classes IV–X through the
school intercom system by the Student Council. The purpose of the assembly was to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of tobacco
consumption and to encourage them to adopt a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
During the
assembly, the Student Council members shared important information about the
dangers of smoking and smokeless tobacco products. Students were sensitised to
the negative impact of tobacco on health, behaviour, and society. They were
also encouraged to spread awareness among their family members and friends and
become responsible ambassadors of a tobacco-free environment.
The assembly
concluded with a message promoting healthy choices and respect for the school’s
tobacco-free policy. The initiative was appreciated for its meaningful message
and effective student participation. At the end of the assembly, students took
a pledge to keep themselves tobacco-free.
