Three students from our school recently participated in the three-day NDMC Science Fair, showcasing their scientific acumen and innovative projects. The event proved to be a challenging yet rewarding experience, culminating in our school winning the Best School Trophy.
Participants:
The three students who represented our school were Yuvraj Verma, Mayur Raj , and Tanishq Virmani. The project was based on Gaganyaan Mission that represents a significant milestone in India's space exploration journey.
The NDMC Science Fair spanned three days 4th, 5th and 6th December.Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science & Technology; MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Space and Atomic Energy, Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated the New Delhi Municipal Council’s (NDMC) Schools Annual Science Fair at NDMC Convention Center.
Dr Jitendra Singh said, “Atal Tinkering Labs, Atal Incubation Centres and Atal Community Innovation Centres are inculcating an innovative mindset in school children, besides supporting StartUps and innovators". More than 60 exhibits were displayed in the Science Fair, showcasing the scientific temperament, aptitude and innovative minds of the future scientists. Science/Mathematics inventive exhibits, displays from Palika Tinkering Lab / Atal Tinkering Lab, and interactive workshops for students on "Fun with Science," "Science Behind Miracles," and exploring the wonders of science with the National Science Centre was also in the science fair.
Participants from various NDMC schools presented their projects, engaged in scientific discussions, and experienced intense competition. The fair provided a platform for students to not only showcase their scientific prowess but also to interact with experts and peers, fostering a spirit of collaboration and learning.
