Description:
A Fire Safety Evacuation Mock Drill was successfully conducted in the Junior Wing on 25th April 2025 to reinforce awareness and preparedness among students and staff in the event of an emergency.
At 9:30 a.m., the fire alarm was sounded, prompting a swift and orderly evacuation of students from Classes KG to 3, guided by their teachers. Following the evacuation routes displayed across the corridors, the students proceeded calmly towards the designated assembly point. The lead student from each class carried the Disaster Management Board for attendance marking.
All teachers, office staff, the school nurse with the First Aid Box, and support staff participated in the drill, ensuring the building was evacuated completely. Washrooms, activity rooms, and corridors were thoroughly checked to confirm that no student was left behind. A headcount was promptly conducted upon assembling on the field. The entire evacuation was completed smoothly within three minutes, with no injuries or missing students reported. The drill not only enhanced the students' understanding of safe evacuation procedures but also emphasized the importance of maintaining calm during emergencies, strengthening their confidence and readiness.
