Description:
The trip to Shoghi (March 1st to March 5th, 2024) was a good experience for our lads in terms of the learning that took place for the following reasons.
1. It provided hands-on learning experience, as students engaged in outdoor activities, such as hiking, rappelling, Zip-line, team building games, etc., which not only provided valuable skills but fostered independence, self-reliance, self-confidence teamwork and collaboration, thus pushing their limits and developing resilience in the face of adversity.
2. The tree plantation & cleanliness drive, was a beautiful experience, raising awareness about environmental issues, thus instilling a deeper knowledge about the ecosystem, conservation efforts and sustainability, making them more environmentally conscious citizens.
3. The immersion program with the students of the local government school gave our students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a different culture, understanding the hardships and challenges the students face, thus promoting empathy and appreciation in diversity.
In all, it was a holistic learning & memorable experience for both teachers and students.
