Description: "Dreams are painted, imagination takes flight, and creativity soars." A spectacular celebration of creativity and self-expression unfolded at the Junior School on October 18th and 19th, 2024. The venue was beautifully transformed into a kaleidoscope of colors, showcasing the artistic talents of our students. Our esteemed Principal, Br. Robert, graciously inaugurated the exhibition, accompanied by Mr. N. Chopra, Mrs. A. Pal, and Mrs. R. Kaushal, whose presence added further distinction to this special occasion. The air echoed melodious tunes played by Dev Kumar on the keyboard. Over the course of two captivating days, the Art Fair brought together an impressive array of student artwork, interactive displays, and engaging activities. The exhibition featured innovative art pieces from Classes 1, 2, and 3, alongside various stalls. Sensory Immersion corner by the Learning Center, Library Corner display, Earth Day Crafts, Founder's Day Craft and EVS portfolios were the highlights of the event. A live demonstration of the potter’s wheel, an enthralling magician’s performance, the HT Pace Drawing Competition, NGO stalls by Muskan, Raah, Chetanalya, Cheshire Home, promoting social causes, and Pratyek’s innovative circus art delighted the audience, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Displayed in all their glory were art and crafts by our talented young artists, encompassing a diverse range of art forms and skills. The exhibition included 3D Butterfly Art Prints, capturing nature’s beauty and symmetry; colourful Unicorns, bringing magic to life; and playful Cat Hand Puppets. The students’ mastery of various artistic techniques was evident in creative pieces such as Leaf Cutout Crafts, Wind Chimes made from discarded materials, Dragon Paper Craft, and Tiger Art, showcasing colouring techniques and skills. Ingeniously repurposing discarded items and keeping our commitment to sustainability in mind, students fashioned scarecrow Muppets and sculpted old aluminum foil sculptures. Lace and Layer Sheets, as well as intricate Mandala artwork, further demonstrated their creativity. In addition to admiring the exhibits, students enthusiastically participated in various activities in the stalls put up by the parents, including diya painting, face painting, jewellery making, animal mask crafts, fancy dress fun and pottery. The Art Fair was truly a celebration of the students’ imagination, creativity, and talent, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among parents, teachers, and students alike.
