Description:
Nurturing a culture of hard work among children is paramount in instilling essential life skills. An insightful class assembly was conducted by the students of 3A on the morning of 26th April 2024 on the topic- Hard work pays off well. The assembly commenced with a short prayer and a verse from Psalm 128, verse 2, setting a prayerful tone for the day. The importance of embodying the spirit of our founder, Blessed Edmund Rice was underscored, highlighting the value of working hard and helping the poor. Following this, the students performed a short skit titled 'The Farmer & His Lazy Sons,' signifying that diligent efforts yield sweet rewards. Additionally, they recited a poem on 'Lessons,' urging their peers to work hard right from the onset of the academic year. It was emphasized that success is a product of dedicated labour and there are no shortcuts to achieving one's goals. The students also delivered a melodious rendition of the hymn 'Like a Sunflower,' symbolising growth and resilience. The assembly culminated with a segment of News Reading. Our respected Principal Brother Robert and Junior School Headmistress Mrs Kaushal appreciated the efforts of the students of Class 3A and encouraged all to continue working hard.
