Description:
The Middle Section witnessed a Special Assembly to celebrate Guru Nanak Devji’s Birthday (Gurupurab) on 24 November,2023. The team included Yashasvi Khurana- 10 D,Japjeet Singh- 7C,Sarabjeet Singh- 7C,Keerat Singh 5D,Vareney Manchanda 9-D and Cyrus Massey 9-D, and educators Mr. Tejinder Singh and Mrs Geeta Sehgal.
The team shared the teachings of Guru Nank Dev ji ,highlighting the 5 principles of Sikhism and the Mool-Matra. They shared that the most beautiful way to honour the great Guru is to share the spirit that he brought, one of tolerance, and of not getting caught up in religious ritualism, one of inspiring ourselves and others to act as consciously and as virtuously as possible. The programme ended with a musical rendition that lauded the Guru.
