Description:
The assembly aims to highlight the importance of empathy, kindness, and understanding towards every individual, community and marginalized groups. It emphasizes the need for compassion in fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all students and environment equally.
The assembly began by explaining what is compassion and how it spreads positivity as a Chain reaction.
Students presented the great individuals who stand as the epitome of generosity and compassion in the society like Nelson Mandela, Malal Yousafzai, Mother Teresa and Edmund Ignatius Rice.
An effort was made to describe who all are the weak and helpless amongst and near us, for whom we should be raising our voices.
Talking about the weak, students also satirically acted as the degrading state of the environment which is in need of protection.
A skit was enacted by the students showing how a simple act of love can bring change in someone's life. At last our principal, Bro.Robert Fernandes enlightened the students with his wise words reminding everyone of the significance of compassion in building a harmonious and inclusive school community. He encouraged everyone to embrace empathy, kindness, and understanding towards one another, both inside and outside the classroom.
Remember, compassion is not a one-time effort but a continuous practice that can transform our school community into a place where everyone feels valued, supported, and respected.
