Description:
"By common endeavour, we can raise the country to a new greatness, while a lack of unity will expose us to a fresh calamity." - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
On November 6, 2024, the Junior School organised a morning assembly to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel which is celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), every year on 31st October. Sardar Patel, India's first Home Minister, played a pivotal role in unifying the country.
The morning assembly aimed at showcasing our country's strength in unity, highlighting the importance of coming together to overcome challenges. The programme included a heartfelt prayer, an inspiring story on unity, and a lively rhyme and dance performance.
Our respected Principal Br. Robert and Junior School Headmistress Mrs. Kaushal commended the students' efforts and delivered a poignant message emphasizing the significance of unity, acceptance, and tolerance. They encouraged the students to embrace diversity and promote harmony.
The assembly culminated in a collective pledge taken by teachers and students, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility. The event successfully instilled a sense of national pride among the students, inspiring them to become committed citizens of India.
